My name is Jack Ryan…
and I’ve been taking pictures for… Well I don’t know but for a considerable amount of years. I’ve also been taking videos (so i’m a videographer) for the past three years. That passion all started when I got my first drone: suddenly I could express more emotions than what I anyone can in just one shot. I still keep a balance between photography and videography, because I believe they’re complementary.
Why I do this
I”m a self taught photographer: I’ve learned everything from my successes and unfortunately also from my failures. The later is the reason why I’m writing this blog. Photography is one of those hobbies where it’s hard to be a beginner. It’s not like a sport, where you can have a coach and he’ll teach you everything; getting information is either close to impossible, or very expensive. This blog is different! It’s not about those general tips you can find online; it’s about those thing i’ve learned from experience which will make a WOW shot.
I’m not an expert photographer, I just want to share my knowledge to others so they don’t have to feel the same frustration I went through at first (although its inevitable).
Nevertheless, there’s still a part which has to come from you. Learning from your mistakes is a proven method of learning. You’ll have to get out there and shoot. As long as this passion drives you, keep thriving.
What kind of photography do I do
Wildlife as a challenge.
I love wildlife photography. Why? It’s a challenging thing, its not just about holding a camera (there’s more skill involved) but most importantly I just love the thrill of looking at an animal through my viewfinder.
The sky as a limit.
I’m not a technology geek, but drones have become an extension to my body. They can do things that surpass human abilities and consistently produce quality. They push the limits to what photographers can do.
Nature as a driving force.

But enough about me, it’s all about you now!
